I’ve put together an easy to read chart for a quick-look comparison of which instant oatmeal is the healthiest. Healthy instant oatmeal is a great nutritional resource, no matter what type of dietary plan you may be following. As always, be sure to consult your doctor for any and all health-related advice. I’m just a crazy-oats-girl after all. Ha!

Here are 5 Popular Oats Brands That Have An Instant Oatmeal Product

After looking at well over a dozen instant oatmeal products, I’ve found 5 that seem to be the healthiest, although I’m certain there are MANY more out there.

What makes these worth mentioning?

  1. All five products are plain / original flavor.
  2. Their ingredients are clear, quality and simple.
  3. I also took a look at the macros and other nutritional elements, as many of us, myself included, count our calories and pay close attention to our macros.

I hope this comparison helps you decide which to try for yourself.  I’m crazy about oats and recommend all five of these brands!

One last thing to note, I’m listing the approximate price per container, but this number will vary depending on where you order or buy from.

Bri's Favorite Instant Oatmeal

I absolutely buy Better Oats Steel Cut Instant Oatmeal with Flax Seeds the most.

Simple Truth Organic is my second choice.

I tend to make overnight oats with instant oatmeal packets the most, as well as create a larger meal for myself that keeps me full and fueled for longer periods of time.

I’m a busy mama of four and it’s important that I try to have a well-balanced meal in the morning. I reach for oats every single day and add toppings based on whatever I am craving that moment.

I’m also really trying hard to Intermittent Fast AND participate in 2MAD (Two Meals A Day).

I honestly feel SO good if I actually stick to that plan. But ya know…stress. Ugh. Anyway.

One Last Thought About The 5 Healthy Instant Oatmeal Brands Above

You may notice that the oats that contain flaxseed, have more carbohydrates, more calories and more sodium. I included these options for Girl Planted readers who may not want the bare oat and need a little salt (that they do not want to add themselves).

I hope this post helped you decide which Instant Oatmeal was best for you and your digestive system. Happy Oats Eating, my new friend!
